Nothing much about me. I'm just a small-time nobody. My stage name is YARN, but most of my close friends & family members who know me well are used to calling me by my nickname, Yayan. I was born in Luyang, Sabah. I grew up in Labuan after my dad relocated his job there back then. I went to Labuan International School (LIS) at the age of 7 for 6 years of elementary studies and finished em when I reached 13. I then continued my studies for another 5 years in secondary school at SMK Pantai & SMK Labuan. Along the way growing up in a small island, I'd discovered my true passion for Hip Hop. It started out with just writing out random lyrics in my rhyme book to recording & producing tracks on software, performing live on stage and making a lot of online releases independently, that's what it is all about throughout the past years till the present time. Rap music to me is not about being stuck-up & proving who's better than who. What really matters to me is having a sincerity & being able to create something out of nothing by using creativity & talent. That's what I think Hip Hop is all about.
